To create a database to register patients with primary brain tumours, including those recently (re)defined in the 2021 WHO classification [4], to provide updated disease profiles including data on age at diagnosis, clinical and imaging presentation, currently available treatments and outcomes

To determine whether the newly formed disease categories (2021 WHO classification) [4] result in patient cohorts with a more homogeneous clinical phenotype than the 2016 WHO classification. • To determine whether outcome predictions based on the 2021 WHO classification are more reliable and would change the allocation of treatment. • To characterize the neuroimaging profile of new disease entities at presentation and any progression in the course of disease. • To generate reference data for control groups by tumour entity that facilitate the design of the next generation of clinical trials for patients with primary brain tumours

• Equal or above legal age of consent • Newly diagnosed or recurrent primary brain tumours • Archival tumour tissue from primary tumour available at the site. Representative tissue from first surgery is preferred, but tissue from surgery for progression is allowed. • Patient's consent
